SLP50B: SOLDERLESS 50'S LES PAUL WIRING HARNESS

*Solderless variations are pre-wired utilizing screw in terminals for wire connectivity. These harnesses require ZERO additional soldering. On your end, all that needs to be done is; Strip and prep the wires as normal, insert into terminal ports, and screw in using the terminal screws. This allows for very quick and easy pickup installation as well as having the ability to swap pickups with the drop of a dime. Literally plug and play.

WHK prebuilt Solderless Vintage 50's wiring kits will improve your guitars overall tone. Your sound will be stronger, tighter and have improved clarity. Notes will open up with greater sustain. Tone and Volume controls are very responsive and have a smoother taper. By rolling back your volume you can clean up an over driven amp. One of my favorite things is the elimination of much of the treble loss when you roll the volume down. All kits are carefully hand wired to order. Only the best quality parts are used including vintage Gavitt cloth push back wire just like they used back in the 50’s and 60’s. You will not find a better product or selection.

The vintage 50’s Les Paul Kit uses .022/400v Orange Drop vintage tone caps for improved overall performance, Excellent clarity, aged vintage warm and woody tones with improved sustainability. These caps are used in all Gibson custom shop reissues and are vintage correct. All wired 50's style with premium new components that perform better than the stock electronics found in today's guitars. You will hear and feel the difference.

This Kit Is For:

USA Gibson Les Paul manufactured 1977 and after using long shaft pots. Always best to measure the pot bushing (threaded part of shaft only) to make sure. Long = 3/4 inch Short = 3/8 inch.

Assembled template hard board. Note the template does not get installed. Only used to assure correct measurements when building, shipping protection and makes your part of the installation easier.

All harnesses are custom built to order (there are a few pre built in stock options) 

I personally prefer Bourns potentiometers over all other brands including CTS. I have found them to be smoother, responsive and longer lasting. The very best taper available. These pots are 18 spline shaft so USA type knobs will not fit without first pinching the top of the split shaft together a little and slowly push the knob on. Epiphone and off shore type will fit fine.
